Fornasetti presents the "Lunario del Sole", a series of twelve tapestries from 2005, unique works knotted by hand based on the illustrations of the artist Piero Fornasetti in the 1942 Almanac of the same name.

To mark the occasion, Fornasetti exclusively unveils a new addition to the series. This thirteenth tapestry is a unique work comprising an original interpretation of the cover illustration, created and co-signed by Barnaba Fornasetti and Giovanni Bonotto for A-Collection.

The project perfectly expresses that artisanal expertise and imagination that characterise Fornasetti, and which can transform an evocation of reality into a remarkable fiction.

It is complemented by an editorial project of the Almanac itself, conceived in the early 1940s as a magical book, featuring the original introduction by Fabrizio Clerici along with symbolic representations of the 12 months that are the inspiration for the series of tapestries.
